Sustainable Professional Development

One of the main goals of Education First Foundation is sustainable professional development, achieved through continuous training of educational leaders, teachers, and students in official schools across Egypt.

In 2016, the Foundation signed a collaboration agreement with the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University in the USA to train and prepare educational leaders and teachers at school and university levels as the Foundation’s academic partner.

The College prepared 32 Egyptian trainers to conduct training across schools and universities.

The Foundation started a capacity-building project in official and distinguished language schools across Egypt, starting in 2013 with 40 principals in Cairo, coordinated with the Ministry of Education.

In 2014, the Foundation expanded its activities to support professional development in 1004 language schools and invited civil society and private sector organizations to participate…

The Foundation continues training teachers who won the "Teacher of Egypt" competition as well as school leadership teams.

Training materials were prepared by Balanced Education Company in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University, Indiana University, and FranklinCovey, granting certificates upon completion.
